The Van Buren Fire Department will begin flow testing fire hydrants on Monday, March 17th, as part of a semi-annual preventative maintenance program. The flow testing will last approximately 5 weeks.

The flow testing requires a large quantity of water, and it may disturb sediment that has settled in water lines. Residents and business owners who notice a discoloration in their water supply should allow a faucet to run until the water becomes clear again. For more information, please call the Van Buren Fire Department at 479-471-5142. Thank you for your cooperation.
