We had a great visit at Bok Towers here in Lake Wales… we went to see a touring band fom NC.. Steep Canyon Rangers who we had seen at the International Bluegrass Festival in Raleigh. Turns out their new lead singer played at our cafe’& music lounge twice! Small world… interesting chat!

We see so much living in a field.. came home to 3 sandhill cranes today, had an airplane that was in the news practice its landing a few time right in front of us while the local RC airplane club was doing their thing… chilly morning!

Was at the Harn Museum of Art in Gainsville this morning while Howard worked in the RV… it was nice for my brain! Yesterday we were at another state park that I rode my bike, visited the gardens and painted by the lake… yes I am taking advantage of this time off while I have it this week!

We have had very chill mornings here along the west side Of Florida as we travel toward the panhandle. Yesterday was Swannee 16 BW as our stop and I wanted to live there! Beautiful day on the river… Howard worked and I got things in order… today we are at Shell Island Fish Camp one of the last old ones of its kind… peaceful outdoor office for me today as I start working on a new prospect… Valentines day in a quiet relaxed location…❤️🌞

Slept at the concert venuse in the back lot and woke up to a jungle, had our breakfast, got propane, a haircut for Howard and stopped in Tarpon Springs at the sponge docks… a little Greek area north of St Pete… very windy day 40 mph! Landed in a beautiful Boondockers Welcome host on the Suwannee River.. whipped up food for our Superbowl “party.”

Great start to our adventure .. i got to see Roger Daltrey in my 9 th row center seat! Its was really cool to be so close and he was telling some stories and singing hard.. so hard he had to stop early… but it was a great experience .. thanks for my Valentines present Howard!
