We had a great visit at Bok Towers here in Lake Wales… we went to see a touring band fom NC.. Steep Canyon Rangers who we had seen at the International Bluegrass Festival in Raleigh. Turns out their new lead singer played at our cafe’& music lounge twice! Small world… interesting chat!

We see so much living in a field.. came home to 3 sandhill cranes today, had an airplane that was in the news practice its landing a few time right in front of us while the local RC airplane club was doing their thing… chilly morning!

Parked with the cow and horses… working under the Spanish moss covered oaks, watching alligators to bald eagles go by… and airplanes landing right in front of us here is Lake Wales…

Was at the Harn Museum of Art in Gainsville this morning while Howard worked in the RV… it was nice for my brain! Yesterday we were at another state park that I rode my bike, visited the gardens and painted by the lake… yes I am taking advantage of this time off while I have it this week!

Spent a couple of days visiting Nick and Michele and set up shop in the rv in his side yard… got some projects done on the rv too! I am trying to get i to routine with my work day as we travel a bit each day back down to Sarasota… then off the Lake Wales!

We have had very chill mornings here along the west side Of Florida as we travel toward the panhandle. Yesterday was Swannee 16 BW as our stop and I wanted to live there! Beautiful day on the river… Howard worked and I got things in order… today we are at Shell Island Fish Camp one of the last old ones of its kind… peaceful outdoor office for me today as I start working on a new prospect… Valentines day in a quiet relaxed location…❤️🌞

Slept at the concert venuse in the back lot and woke up to a jungle, had our breakfast, got propane, a haircut for Howard and stopped in Tarpon Springs at the sponge docks… a little Greek area north of St Pete… very windy day 40 mph! Landed in a beautiful Boondockers Welcome host on the Suwannee River.. whipped up food for our Superbowl “party.”

Great start to our adventure .. i got to see Roger Daltrey in my 9 th row center seat! Its was really cool to be so close and he was telling some stories and singing hard.. so hard he had to stop early… but it was a great experience .. thanks for my Valentines present Howard!

Our journey begins! Its a very windy day in Venice and we are first taking a trip to go see Nick Ruggz and Michelle Munn which is 500 Miles and 8 hours away… wr will stop eah day this week to work and see some local sites as we go!

Just got back from a two week trip down to Florida to get Tyler and his roommate Lucas set up and ready for their final year at FullSail University in WinterPark. We then headed to the gulf and visited a friend from Hasbrougk Heights, and checked out the areas of Sarasota, Siesta Key and Venice before the hurricane Eta chased us away!

We headed back to Orlando, said goodby to the boys and headed north. We stayed on several Golf CourseProperties and a bar with Harvest Host and even did a CrackerBarrel for a night along with two State Parks and a Fish Camp on the Barrier Islands near Titusville.

We had a lot of rain... spent the last day at South of the Boarder working because it was pouring! Made it home by 6 pm... no I don’t miss my house.. I like being n the road.

So we got a new ride that will be a lot easier that hitching up and towing, plus it doesn’t need to be worked on... well just a few touch ups...planning to set up so we can work as we travel and I’m also working for Harvest Hosts recruiting new host locations and finding new members to join!

Had a lovely weekend in Charleston, so much history, and interesting architecture...we need to do some studying before we return in the fall so we can appreciate it more.
