What did they find underneath? The completely intact, gorgeous 100-year-old original floor! 😍📜Instead of covering it back up, they are restoring it and using it going forward. Did you know that our vibrant local streets are a canvas for talented local artist Coleen Henry? 🎨🖌️ If you’ve admired the stunning murals around town, chances are you’ve already seen her beautiful work!
Here are a few quick facts about how she keeps our community colorful:
🌺 Blooming Homes: Coleen partners with Venice Heritage, Inc. to paint gorgeous hibiscus flowers on local houses.
🍊 City Pride: The orange hibiscus isn’t just a pretty flower—it’s our official city flower!
🏛️ Centennial Celebration: She is currently hard at work painting a brand-new centennial mural on the back of the Old Betsy Museum building! Old Betsy Museum 🚒
