Meet Mike. 36 years underwater. Specialty: sharks. Favorite animal: …not sharks. 🦭

He started diving at 16 and hasn’t really stopped since. Sharks are his thing — finding them, and talking people out of being afraid of them.

But ask him his favorite animal in the Channel Islands and you get to watch him fight himself over it: “Love my sharks… but sea lions.”

“You spin, they spin. You flip, they flip.”

That’s the whole place in one sentence. You don’t come here to look at wildlife. You come here to get looked back at.

Hire your dive guide. We’ll keep you safe, and it’s going to be an epic adventure all day. 🦈

Meet Mike S. He’s the reason you’ll actually see the octopus. 🐙

Twelve years guiding out here, and when he’s not teaching he’s got a camera in his hands — showing off the beauty in our own backyard.

Ask him his favorite creature and he doesn’t hesitate: the octopus. Watch the reel for the hand signal. Then listen for what he calls “bubbles of excitement.”

Here’s the thing about the Channel Islands — the good stuff doesn’t announce itself. It’s tucked in the cracks, under the ledges, back in the rocks. You’d swim right past it all day long.

Mike doesn’t.

Bring a couple layers and a willingness to see something you’ve never seen before. We’ll handle the rest — breakfast, lunch, brownie sundaes, and a hot tub when you get cold.

Hire a guide. See more. 🤿

Meet Courtney. 🐙

One of the guides who’ll be in the water with you at the Channel Islands — and she has a specialty most divers don’t: finding octopus.

She’ll tell you every one has its own personality. Courtney will happily spend a whole dive with a single octopus — offering it little shells, coaxing it out, figuring out its quirks, and building a little interaction you’ll remember long after you surface.

Can’t wait to dive with you. Let’s go. 🌊

Meet Preston. 🦭

One of the guides who’ll be in the water with you at the Channel Islands — and one of his favorite things to see is one of the best the islands have to offer.

Picture it: the Spectre pulls up, there are 40 sea lions waiting right off the swim step, you hop in, and they’re ready to play.

He can’t wait to show you around. Come dive with us. 🌊

Meet Matt. 🤿

Tech diver, cave diver, and one of the guides in the water with you at the Channel Islands.

Diving since 2018, Matt knows these islands — and the off-island sites most people never reach. Yes, it’s cold water. Yes, it could be a swim. But this is a top-three dive destination on the planet, and the payoff is real: Pacific electric rays (we call them torpedo rays), giant black sea bass, and biodiversity you won’t find anywhere else.

He’ll meet you where you are — your skill, your comfort zone — and take you a little deeper from there.

Come dive with us. 🌊
