Sadly, all amazing adventures must come to an end. From the ancient streets of Rome to the canals of Venice, the coastline of Sorrento, the beauty of Florence, the Swiss Alps, and the peaceful views of Lake Maggiore, this trip has been filled with memories that will last a lifetime.

Day 11 brought an unexpected bonus… a day trip to Switzerland! 🇨🇭🏔️

One of the best parts about staying in Stresa is being just over an hour away from Simplon Dorf, making it possible to drive straight through the breathtaking Italian Alps and right into the Swiss Alps in the same day.

The scenery along the way honestly looked unreal. Snow-capped mountains, winding roads, tiny alpine villages, and views that felt straight out of a postcard. The experiences on this journey just keep getting better!

Day 10 from Venice to Stresa! 🇮🇹

Today was another travel day heading toward beautiful Stresa. Along the way, we had the opportunity to stop in Verona, best known as the backdrop for Romeo and Juliet. Such a beautiful city with great shopping, charming streets, and the perfect spot to stop for lunch.

After Verona, it was back on the road to Stresa to arrive at the beautiful Regina Palace Hotel situated right along Lake Maggiore. An incredible view to end the day! ✨

Ciao from the floating city! Today was spent cruising the canals by water taxi, riding in a gondola, and visiting the island of Murano.

Venice is truly one of a kind with its winding canals, small alleyways, beautiful scenery, and some incredibly delicious seafood. Such a unique place unlike anywhere else in the world! ✨🛶🦐

Today was another travel day heading north to beautiful Venice. It was a long drive, but absolutely worth it.

Along the way, we had the opportunity to stop at a family-owned winery for a wine tasting and lunch before continuing the journey. A perfect way to travel through the Italian countryside! 🍷✨

Today was spent exploring the ancient city of Pompeii, a place that remained buried and undiscovered until the late 16th century.

Walking through the ruins was truly surreal. Standing in the streets, homes, and history of a city frozen in time is something difficult to put into words. An incredible experience and truly something everyone should see at least once.
