Participation in the Bacon City, USA Food Truck Competition is limited to licensed food trucks and food trailers only. Due to food safety, handling, and storage requirements for the bacon provided as part of the competition, tents, pop-up vendors, and other temporary food setups are not eligible to participate.

Only approved food trucks and food trailers will receive competition bacon. No exceptions will be made.

Let's GET READY TO RODEOOOOO!!!

It’s Parade and Rodeo time here in Vernon

The fun kicks off downtown at 3:00 p.m. with the parade, followed by the Vernon Lions Club BBQ at the rodeo grounds from 5:00–7:00 p.m. Then it’s time for the excitement of Grand Entry beginning at 7:30 p.m.!

As we kick off Rodeo Week here in Vernon, we are proud to recognize the Santa Rosa Roundup Association for the incredible impact they continue to make on our community.

Mayor Pam Gosline officially proclaimed May 13–16, 2026 as Santa Rosa Roundup Association Week in recognition of the Association’s dedication to preserving western heritage and producing one of the finest PRCA rodeos in our region year after year.

The Santa Rosa Roundup is more than just a rodeo. It is a tradition that brings families, friends, visitors, and our community together. From the volunteers who work countless hours behind the scenes to the contestants, sponsors, and fans who support the event each year, the Roundup represents the pride and spirit of Vernon.

We appreciate everything the Santa Rosa Roundup Association does for our community and look forward to another great year of rodeo festivities.
