The plan was to build a cozy little house that blended into the landscape- celebrated exactly where we are instead of stealing from it. I love how the grassy meadow has filled in for the kids to throw the football, and how the forest embraces our little cabin and its yard.

For privacy,calm, and a good long exhale… We welcome you. 💜

I love when guests love our little corner of the Blue Ridge Mountains! One recent visitor designed a pretty incredible visit: 💜

“ … It is our first day here. My fiancé and I are celebrating our anniversary and is truly a magical place to destress and unwind.

Today we went hiking at St Marys Falls and the Falls were gorgeous! After, we drove to the warm springs in to get some relaxation after our hike. We finally got back and headed next-door to the for some delicious dinner and excellent customer service. I had the baked trout and it was 10/10. We brought back a bottle of wine to enjoy at the cabin.

Tomorrow we’re planning on cooking breakfast. I will enjoy a cup of coffee on the deck. : ) Then we’ll go fishing at the pond. I highly recommend checking out that country store! I forgot to mention that we stopped in to grab some breakfast items and left with a whole bunch of goodies. Next, we will explore and board the for a murder mystery.”
