Owners, David and Gloria Martin, purchased the funeral home from Carl and Hazel (Grempczynski) Birmingham on January 1, 1975. We, and our dedicated staff, are committed to providing care and service to the residents and citizens of the surrounding communities who experience the death of a loved o

ne or friend. We are veteran owned and operated assisting with military honors, VA benefits and burials in veteran related cemeteries. Our main goal is to pay tribute to a life that has been lived by offering service options according to the needs and wishes of the family. Birmingham-Martin Funeral and Long-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services are excited to announce the merger of the two businesses in Dixon. As of Monday, April 15, 2024, both locations will operate as Martin-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, located at 205 W. 3rd Street, Dixon, Missouri.

Since 1976 Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home and since 1920 Long-Kloeppel (Gilbert) Funeral Home and Cremation Services have been proudly serving the Dixon area and with this merger we plan to better serve our existing and future clients. At this time all contact information for both locations will stay the same and all existing prepaid plans will be honored for both locations.
