New world record caught in Grand Lake Oklahoma!

NEW WORLD RECORD: Bryan Lee Baker has landed another world record catch—beating the record he set 2 years ago. He snagged a 118 pound 10 ounce bighead carp out of Grand Lake on Saturday. That’s 7 ounces more than his first record-setting catch in 2023 (see a picture of that one in the comments).

Bighead carp are an invasive species that have made their way into Oklahoma waters, posing detrimental effects on native fish. Bryan is a fishing guide who’s had enough. He’s made it his personal mission to wipe out bighead carp, and in his words, “SAVE GRAND LAKE.”
