Today, we pause to honor the brave souls who gave their lives in service to our nation.

This image, captured during the funeral es**rt for Seaman 1st Class Walter C. Stein—who perished aboard the USS Oklahoma at Pearl Harbor—reminds us that freedom comes at a cost.

On this Memorial Day, may we remember not only the sacrifice, but the stories, the families, and the legacy left behind.

We remember. We honor. We are grateful.
