Today we were so excited to see one of our favorite dolphin visitors! This is an individual who we have named Bubbles as she always blows bubbles prior to surfacing. We suspect she has a form of scoliosis which causes her to surface differently than dolphins typically surface. We spent a lot of time with her and her calf back in 2022.

Bottlenose dolphins tend to have one calf every 3-5 years. Will she have another calf this summer?

The dolphins were extra playful today! We also spotted a loggerhead sea turtle, and lots of birds including these willets and ospreys hunting for fish.
