We're providing FREE meals to all children ages 1-18, no matter where they live or go to school. 🏫🥳 No paperwork is needed—just show up at any of our designated sites during breakfast and lunch serving times!

PREPARED TO PROTECT! 🛡️👮 The Waco ISD Police Department is staying busy training and preparing to keep our campuses safe throughout the next school year! 🏫☀️

This week, our campus safety guards participated in a full day of training focused on important topics, including first aid 🩺 procedures, CRASE training, radio communication 📻, and more. We are grateful to the trainers who took the time to share their knowledge, experience, and insight with our department. 😎

We also want to recognize and thank all of our crossing guards, campus safety guards, telecommunicators, and officers who go above and beyond each day to support, protect, and inspire our students! 💙🚓

SWEET STORIES! 📖✨ Brook Avenue Elementary bilingual first-grade students in Mrs. Dresner’s class explored a variety of book genres. Some students chose to read Pete the Cat, while others picked stories like Piggy & Gerald. 📚 To make the experience even more exciting, students enjoyed milk 🥛and a pastry 🍰 while reading their books. This activity was a fun and engaging way to show students that reading can be sweet, exciting, and memorable! 🤗
