CARNIVAL CRUISE LINE ANNOUNCES 2027 ALASKA ADVENTURES AND REMARKABLE CARNIVAL JOURNEYS CRUISES

Carnival Cruise Line announced its comprehensive 2027 schedule for the Alaska sailing season. Carnival Spirit and Carnival Legend will homeport in Seattle and Carnival Luminosa will sail from San Francisco, with the three ships offering more than 50 Alaska itineraries over the summer and truly unique repositioning cruises in the spring and fall.

Carnival Luminosa
On April 6, 2027, Carnival Luminosa will reposition to San Francisco with an extraordinary 23-day Transpacific Journeys voyage departing Sydney, featuring stops in Suva (Fiji), Moorea, Papeete (French Polynesia), and Honolulu. Beginning May 3, 2027, the 2,800-guest Carnival Luminosa will sail 10-day cruises visiting Juneau, Ketchikan, Skagway, Tracy Arm Fjord and Prince Rupert. The ship will also sail several Baja Mexico cruises from San Francisco, including nine four-day extended-weekend sailings to Ensenada departing on Thursday and returning on Monday. These cruises expand the variety of Carnival’s offering on the west coast giving guests sailing from San Francisco the option of a shorter getaway that showcases the beauty of Mexico's Pacific coast.

Carnival Legend
Carnival Legend will reposition from Tampa to Seattle with a 16-day Panama Canal voyage that will mark the cruise line’s first visit to Acapulco, Mexico since 2010. The 16-day cruise departs April 4, 2027, and also features stops in Cartagena and Santa Marta, Colombia, along with Cabo San Lucas, Mexico as well as a full transit of the Panama Canal. Beginning April 20, 2027, the 2,700-guest Carnival Legend will be homeported in Seattle for an extensive Alaska season offering 22 week-long voyages, visiting Alaska’s most popular ports, including Juneau, Ketchikan, Skagway, Tracy Arm Fjord and Victoria, British Columbia. On Sept. 21, 2027, the ship will sail a 16-day Journeys Hawaii cruise from Seattle visiting Honolulu; Hilo; Nawiliwili; Kahului; Victoria, BC, Canada.

Carnival Spirit
Carnival Spirit will sail a 9-day Carnival Journeys Western Caribbean sailing from Mobile departs on March 20, 2027, visiting Grand Cayman, Cozumel, Montego Bay, and Isla Tropicale, before embarking on a 16-day Panama Canal voyage on March 29, 2027, that features a full canal transit and stops in Cartagena, Colombia, Cabo San Lucas, and Puntarenas, Costa Rica. The ship will also offer a distinctive 15-day Carnival Journeys voyage to Hawaii, departing Seattle on April 14, visiting all four major Hawaiian Islands plus Victoria, British Columbia. CARNIVAL CRUISE LINE ADDS NEW MEXICAN RIVIERA SAILINGS ON CARNIVAL PANORAMA FOR 2027/2028
As it extends its cruise schedule into 2027/28, Carnival Cruise Line announced new sailings for Carnival Panorama that continue the ship’s year-round deployment from Long Beach, California, to the Mexican Riviera’s most popular ports. More than 50 cruises – mostly a rotation of alternating six- and eight-day itineraries – are now open for sale.

Six-day itineraries include visits to the popular resort destination of Cabo San Lucas, with an extended stay that allows guests to fully experience the area's renowned beaches, water sports and vibrant nightlife, plus a stop in Ensenada, known for its wine country and cultural attractions.
Eight-day itineraries offer a comprehensive Mexican Riviera experience, featuring four distinct destinations: Cabo San Lucas with its dramatic rock formations; La Paz, the charming city known for its authentic Mexican culture and beautiful waterfront; Mazatlan, famous for its historic old town, golden beaches and traditional Mexican atmosphere; and Puerto Vallarta, the vibrant city nestled between the Sierra Madre mountains and Banderas Bay, offering everything from art galleries and authentic cuisine to adventure excursions and pristine beaches.

Here’s a great list I made for you when you are getting ready to cruise.

1. Tumbler (their cups are small)
2. Lanyard (casino may have free ones available)
3. Power strip (Carnival Jubilee class it is not necessary, they have more outlets)
4. Magnet clips (hang towels, hats, etc)
5. Clips to hold towels to chair by pool. (Onboard, Get 3 towels per chair. One for top of lounger, one for bottom to fully cover it, then 3rd roll military style & have the round part of top for pillow & drop part of it over top to hold it in place).
6. Games (Phase 10, Cards, Dominoes, etc) perfect for sea days & keep you out if casino 😂
7. Aspirin, bandaids, & medications
8. Seasick patch or Dramamine (if anyone is thinking they may get sick, start taking 24 hours before you cruise)
9. Decorations for door
10. Tote for port days
11. Sunscreen (If flying and not checking bag, make sure no bigger than 3.4 ounces. If you are driving to the port size doesn’t matter.)

Make sure you download Carnival Hub app (or whatever cruise line you are going on) This Is your GO TO for everything going on anywhere on ship as well as food, your account summary, just everything. You can purchase “chat” feature so you can all talk If you didn’t buy their wifi for socisl media or iPhone texts. If you see 5 AFT by an event or food place etc, that means It Is on Deck 5, at the back of ship. AFT=Back, MID=Middle, FWD=Front of ship and the number In front Is the Deck.
21. No need to bring a fan, go directly to customer service when you get on & request one of their fans. (These go fast, so request EARLY).
22. Put all your must have’s for first day (clothes for dinner, medication, swim suit, etc) in its own backpack that you carry on. The rest in your luggage you give porter. You never know what time that will get to your cabin.
23. Waterproof phone case
24. Pre-order at least a 12 pack of water to be delivered to your cabin & put in fridge ($17.64 as of 3/11/25). Also, at breakfast, take some milk (white or choc) & put in your fridge for later. Especially good when you take cookies to your room for a snack later
25. Wristlet (perfect to hold your phone so you don’t have to hold it)
26. Chapstick or lip balm (they can get chapped fast)
27. Dress clothes for formal night (good time to get professional family portraits. Up to 6 day only 1 formal night. 7 day & above 2 formal nights)
28. Put your suitcases under your bed for room to move around
29. Sunglasses
30. A hoodie, jacket, etc. It can get a little chilly at times
31. Maxi dresses are a must 😂.
32. Reusable straws. (The ones on board are edible & break down before you are finished with drink)
33. You can ask your stewart to give you a mattress topper

Popular Destination to Expand Just Ahead of New Deployment Plans
for Carnival Ships in Several Key Homeports

MIAMI, Aug. 27, 2024 – Carnival Cruise Line today announced an array of new itineraries for seven of its ships setting sail in 2026 and 2027 from four of its U.S. homeports: Miami, Port Canaveral, Galveston and Baltimore.

Among the many destinations featured in the new itineraries is Half Moon Cay, a private island set for expansion. The highly rated destination known for relaxing, beautiful beaches and crystal-clear waters will be enhanced to include an expanded beach, dining and beverage experiences along with a pier that will allow some of its ships to dock, making way for Carnival’s Excel class ships Mardi Gras, Carnival Celebration and Carnival Jubilee to visit for the first time. More details on the expansion plans will be announced soon. Also featured on many new sailings is Celebration Key, the first exclusive destination Carnival is developing for its guests.

🛳️Cruise from Miami on New Itineraries for Carnival Celebration
Carnival’s newest and most innovative ship from Miami, Carnival Celebration, will offer a variety of seven-day cruises exploring both the Eastern and Western Caribbean, with a range of departure dates available through spring 2027. Guests can choose from a diverse selection of itineraries, including visits to the soon-to-open Celebration Key and popular destinations like Nassau and Half Moon Cay, Grand Turk, Amber Cove, Cozumel, Mahogany Bay, St. Thomas and San Juan.

🛳️Cruise from Port Canaveral on New Itineraries for Mardi Gras and Carnival Venezia
From Port Canaveral, Carnival’s popular Mardi Gras will sail a variety of seven-day cruises exploring both the Eastern and Western Caribbean. Along with new itineraries that feature Celebration Key and Half Moon Cay, the new Mardi Gras sailings also include several guest-favorite destinations, such as Grand Turk, Amber Cove, Nassau, Cozumel and Mahogany Bay. Guests can choose from a range of departure dates available into spring 2027.

New itineraries are also offered for Carnival Venezia, which sails from Port Canaveral seasonally. The ship will be sailing to both the Western and Eastern Caribbean, with a mix of seven- and 14-day cruises. The “Carnival Fun Italian Style” ship will sail guests to destinations such as Celebration Key, Cozumel, Mahogany Bay, Grand Turk, San Juan and St. Thomas. Three Southern Caribbean 14-day Carnival Journeys cruises are also available and include a range of destinations including Aruba, Curacao, Grenada, Barbados, Dominica, St. Maarten, St. Thomas, St. Kitts and Antigua.

🛳️Cruise from Galveston on New Itineraries for Carnival Jubilee, Carnival Dream and Carnival Breeze
Carnival is launching a new rotation of itineraries for its newest ship, Carnival Jubilee, from Galveston beginning in September 2026. The ship will offer a variety of six- and eight-day cruises exploring the Western Caribbean and The Bahamas. The new six-day itineraries include visits to Cozumel and Mahogany Bay; and the eight-day itineraries visit Key West, Nassau, Half Moon Cay and Celebration Key. Prior to September 2026, Carnival Jubilee will offer seven-day itineraries visiting Cozumel, Mahogany Bay and Costa Maya.

Carnival Dream is offering a variety of itineraries from Galveston as well with a range of new six-, seven- and eight-day cruises that visit popular Western and Eastern Caribbean destinations. Several cruises feature stops in Celebration Key and Half Moon Cay. For guests seeking longer adventures, Carnival Dream will also offer 14-day Carnival Journeys cruises to the Eastern and Southern Caribbean, with stops in a variety of destinations including Ocho Rios, Barbados, St. Lucia, St. Kitts, San Juan, Amber Cove, Key West, Grand Turk, San Juan, St. Thomas, St. Maarten and St. Croix

Carnival Breeze will offer a variety of Western Caribbean itineraries from Galveston. Four-day cruises to Mexico typically visit Cozumel and five-day cruises add a stop in Yucatan (Progreso). An eight-day option features a more diverse itinerary, including stops in Montego Bay, Grand Cayman, Costa Maya and Cozumel.

Week-long voyages from Baltimore on Carnival Pride include Bahamas cruises featuring stops at Half Moon Cay or Princess Cays, Nassau and Celebration Key, as well as cruises to Bermuda that offer an overnight stay. Several longer adventures are also available, with three 14-day Carnival Journeys sailings that feature unique itineraries. One of the Carnival Journeys cruises to Greenland and Canada will sail guests to Nanortalik and Qaqortoq, Greenland as well as St. Anthony, Corner Brook, and Sydney, Canada. For the first time, Carnival is introducing a special 11-day Carnival Journeys Eclipse cruise featuring stops in Spain, Portugal and France on Carnival Legend departing from Dover on August 9, 2026. The total solar eclipse will take place on Aug. 12, 2026, when the ship is at sea, providing guests with a prime viewing vantage point for this rare celestial occurrence. Ports of call on this voyage include: Le Havre, St. Peter Port, Vigo, Lisbon and Leixões and Le Verdon.
