I am constantly creating content. And when I’m not, I’m thinking about it, strategizing it, planning it. But I also run a business with numbers (🤢), spreadsheets, roi, customer service, marketing and all the things. So when I feel overwhelmed or like my brain is literally going to 🤯, I lie on the floor.

I read once that the change in perspective aids in clarity and I’ll be damned, it does! (It has also been known to get my back to crack!😁) I’ve been doing this for about 3 years now. Give it a try if you feel like your wheels are spinning or if you have something you do to clear your mind, share your secret!

Let me say this as lovingly and truthfully as I can:

If you want to build a thriving travel business today:
✅ You have to show your face.

And I get it, that feels scary as hell. I know because I’ve been there too. Overthinking every post. Re-recording videos 27 times. Worrying I sound awkward, I look tired (fat/old/any self deprecating adjective), say the wrong thing. 😰

🙃 IRONY: I have spent the last 6+ years writing captions for every single day of every single month (customizable of course) for OTHER people without issue. In fact, I freaking love to do it. 🙌 Writing a caption for myself? Mental cricket chorus... 😂

I'm looking at my own page here and see it's been more than a week since I posted anything for MY business. What does that say about me? I'll tell you what it LOOKS like...like I don't know how to run my own social media. 🥸🤦🏻‍♀️

In reality, I spend all of my time working on ways to better the experience for my Plussing It travel agent community. To help them beat the @ #$*! algorithm, show up with fresh content that converts and/or serves clientele. If my social/marketing efforts need to suffer (and they really do), so be it.

🤷‍♀️ So here's a picture of me and my freshly cut hair with no makeup on (but with the Portrait filter on because, vanity) to keep my page showing up in your feed-until I can hire my own marketing person. They’re just words…but man, sometimes hearing the right ones, on the right day, at the right moment makes a huge impact. Find a phrase that ignites a spark in you and make sure it’s in your face every day. Whether it’s a quote from someone you admire or simply a sentiment that makes you think “YES!” 🙌
You are definitely not alone if you need a daily dose of validation. That’d be me right next to ya!
