Some pretty stops around Bordeaux. Very similar to Paris with the same architect Georges-Eugène Haussmann that redesigned Paris in the 19th century under Napoleon III. Caneles are little dense cake like desserts found specifically in Bordeaux.

Christmas Market cruises vs. cruises done during Christmas season are very different. Some ports have markets that start in the evening after we have sailed away. Some markets are weekends only and we are hitting the port during the week. If you want to see the Markets, know what you are booking! We are doing a FESTIVAL CRUISE, meaning we have all the Christmas decorations up and have activities like decorating gingerbread houses but might not see the Markets!
