We had the best time exploring Seattle before our cruise! Adding a couple of extra days before embarkation gave us the chance to really enjoy the city instead of just rushing straight to the ship. From the iconic Space Needle to fresh seafood at Pike Place Market, there was so much to see and do.

If you’re planning a cruise, I highly recommend arriving a day or two early (or staying a little longer after). It’s the perfect way to experience a new place and extend the vacation. A relaxed start (or finish) to your trip makes all the difference.

Seattle definitely delivered, and it was such a fun way to kick things off.

Summer Vacation Highlight: Graduation Adventure in Costa Rica

This summer, I had the pleasure of planning an unforgettable trip for a family celebrating their high school graduate with an adventure-filled getaway to Costa Rica.

Their week was the perfect mix of excitement and relaxation. They kicked things off by ziplining through Costa Rica’s lush rainforest, flying high above the treetops and taking in stunning views of the jungle below. Then it was time for some thrills on the river with a white water rafting excursion—an exciting, team-building experience they won’t soon forget.

To round out the trip, they enjoyed a relaxing beach day complete with snorkeling in the clear, tropical waters and plenty of time to unwind in the sun.

Costa Rica delivered the perfect backdrop for celebrating this important milestone with family and adventure.

I just got back from Epic Universe and was seriously impressed by the theming in each land. Every area feels like its own fully immersive world.

The Wizarding World – Ministry of Magic is stunning, with incredible detail and atmosphere. Super Nintendo World looks exactly like the games come to life, and the interactivity makes it even more fun.

Isle of Berk was a surprise favorite—Viking villages, dragons, and a coastal setting that feels straight out of the movies. Dark Universe leans into classic monster vibes with a dark, moody atmosphere that really works.

Celestial Park ties everything together with a beautiful, futuristic design that’s relaxing and impressive all at once.

If you’re into themed environments and immersive storytelling, this place is on another level.

I’ve got a couple of fun trips coming up over the next two weeks and can’t wait to share them with you. First up, Chris and I are heading to Sandals Royal Bahamian—his first time experiencing an all-inclusive resort. I’m really looking forward to relaxing by the pool with a good book and a drink in hand.

After that, I’ll be heading to Universal to preview their brand new park, Epic Universe. I’ll also be staying at the brand new Helios Grand Hotel while I’m there. You all know how much I love theme parks, and from what I’ve seen so far, this one’s going to live up to its name.

I’ll be posting pics and info about each place, so keep an eye out if you want a little peek at what these spots have to offer.
