Moms at Sea with Brenda B. Meet Brenda Boretti—mom of two, cruise planner, and your go-to for family-friendly travel. Cruise-Loving Mom & Experience Collector
Hey there!

I believe in experiences over things, and I’m here to help you make memories at sea. I’m Brenda—a boy mom and girl aunt from Eastern North Carolina with saltwater in my veins and a suitcase always half-packed. Raised on the coast, I’ve been drawn to the sea my whole life, so cruising felt like a natural fit. My first voyage was aboard Disney Cruise Line in 1996, but once I met Royal Caribbean… it

was love at first sail. My husband and I started cruising with our boys when they were just three, choosing splash zones and island adventures over toy aisles and clutter. We’ve always believed in prioritizing experiences over things—and cruising has delivered unforgettable memories in every port. Now, I love helping other moms plan their perfect family cruise—because I know how hectic life can be and how magical it feels to trade the chaos for ocean breezes, room service, and a little well-earned relaxation. I truly believe cruising is the ultimate family vacation: it brings everyone together while still giving grown-ups a chance to actually adult while the kids play. Whether it’s your first cruise or your fifteenth, I’m here to make the planning that little bit easier and the memories even sweeter. Let’s cruise through motherhood—one port at a time.

Be still my heart! ❤️ My oldest is now 13 but this was his first cruise at 4 years old. To say he loved it was an understatement!

For all you parents wondering if your kiddo will like Adventure Ocean on Royal, the answer is a resounding YES!

(and Mom and Dad get free time while they’re there)

The Alaska season is upon us!
It’s a much different proposition to pack for Alaska than for the Caribbean. I shared this video several years ago to try and help others since I wasn’t able to find much at that time when I was looking. Enjoy and I’m happy to help if you have questions or want to know about Alaska cruise options! It’s truly an amazing experience…
