President Dwight "Ike" Eisenhower had the pleasure of staying in one of our fine hotels in Walla Walla and supposedly one of the longest Presidential motorcades in history on his trip to dedicate McNary Dam. So much history to Experience in our wonderful valley!

Walla Walla reverberated with excitement the week of Sept. 19, 1954, in anticipation of a visit from President Dwight D. “Ike” Eisenhower.
