The duo moved company headquarters to Redmond, Washington and have continued to expand to new destinations and experiment with new types of tours. Meet Your Guide: Dan 🚴

From aerospace engineer to full-time adventurer, Dan's path here wasn't exactly a straight line. A 2017 sabbatical sent him guiding mountain trips in Arctic Norway, earning his Wilderness EMT in Scotland, and leading volcano hikes in Nicaragua before he landed in Washington as a backpacking guide where he discovered cycling and never looked back.

Off the bike, Dan's usually caring for animals (pumas, bears, raptors, and now raccoons at a wildlife center on the Olympic Peninsula) or writing his book series, The Nomadic Notebook. He also volunteers with Jefferson County Search and Rescue.

Today marks the first day of fall, and we've got a serious case of summer nostalgia. 🌞🚲

This was a season of short sleeves and sunburned noses, alpine lakes that dared us to jump in (we did), high-fives at overlooks with views for days, and ice cream stops that always showed up right when we needed them most. It was long climbs and longer laughs, new friends turned riding buddies, and the kind of tired satisfaction that only comes from a day well spent in the saddle.
