Stunning Ripples Exposed On The Bottom Of Lake Erie 😮

Strong winds dropped water levels over 5 feet in western Lake Erie, exposing the normally underwater surface. These incredible ripple waves are created during normal wave action but no water is to be found during this storm.

Well...our jaw just hit the floor on the new significant wave forecast for tonight....

"Tonight: northwest storm force winds to 50kt...waves 25 to 30 feet occasionally to 39 feet." This is the marine forecast from the National Weather Service for just west of Muskegon, MI on Lake Michigan. The forecast significant wave height is 28 feet tonight on Lake Superior and 24 feet high on Lake Erie! The "Gales Of November" reach peak force tonight!
