Starting on Monday, February 16, the Walterboro Wildlife Sanctuary will remain temporarily closed as we continue important work in the area. Please use caution on the trails over the weekend as heavy machinery may be active in the area.

Join us as we celebrate the launch of our new TRACK Trail right here in Walterboro! Created in partnership with the Kids in Parks program, this new self-guided trail is designed to turn an ordinary walk into an exciting, educational adventure for kids and families.

👣 Along the trail, children can explore activity brochures designed to spark curiosity and help young explorers learn about the plants, animals, and habitats found right here in the Lowcountry.

⭐️ Kids who complete TRACK Trail adventures can register their hikes at KidsinParks.com to earn fun prizes and track their outdoor experiences.
