Fried Italian greens are a beloved side dish in the Trumbull County region that you may not have tried! 🌶️🌶️🌶️

The greens, traditionally escarole, are cooked until tender and soft, then topped with parmesan Romano cheese and high-quality olive oil.

A fried Hungarian hot pepper crowns the dish, adding a spicy kick.

This dish, often served before the main course, pairs perfectly with bread (or even atop a slice of Brier Hill pizza.)
