St. Patrick’s Day! The perfect day to share my incredible journey to Ireland! Day 1- I arrived in Dublin and embarked on an unforgettable adventure! Our first stop was a stunning 5 star hotel on our way to Kilkenny. We took a tour of this breathtaking property and had the unique opportunity to explore their falconry facilities. A highlight was holding one of the adorable owls, which my granddaughter affectionately refers to as Hedwig from Harry Potter. Next, we visited the majestic Kilkenny Castle, originally built in the 13th Century and remodeled in the Victorian Era. Its beauty left me in awe! We ended the day at Ireland’s Boutique Hotel of the Year for 2024, a charming little bed and breakfast that felt like a home away from home.
