My husband and I just wrapped up our third Virgin Voyages cruise last week, this time aboard Brilliant Lady in Alaska, and apparently we’re officially those people now. 😂🚢

First things first… “Take a break from other people’s kids” might be one of the greatest marketing slogans ever written.

Because YES. We did. And YES. It was glorious. 😂

Just adults being adults… some more successfully than others. 🍸😂

But seriously, one of the BEST parts of this cruise was the people. We met so many interesting, funny and genuinely nice people. We had great conversations, learned a lot, laughed a lot and probably overshared with complete strangers at least once or twice. You know… vacation friendships. 😂

The entire vibe just felt different — relaxed, welcoming, fun and refreshingly un-cruise-like.

Our final Alaska report:

🏔️ Alaska — LOVED IT
🚢 Brilliant Lady — LOVED HER
🍴 Food — LOVED IT
🍸 Drinks — Perhaps loved them too much
😂 Vibe — LOVED IT
❤️ People — LOVED YOU
⭐ Service — AMAZING
👶 Number of other people’s kids — ZERO. 10/10. No notes.

Virgin Voyages + Alaska = one hell of a combination.

Now excuse us while we go through cruise withdrawal and start looking at where Virgin can take us next. 😂🚢

🌅 Almost 29 years of Sandals memories…

This sunset photo was taken on my honeymoon at Sandals Regency La Toc almost 29 years ago. ❤️ I figured today was the perfect day to share it because I’m officially 11 DAYS away from my next Sandals adventure — Sandals Saint Vincent and the Grenadines! 🇻🇨🌴

And yes…I’m ridiculously excited.

After all these years and visits to so many different resorts, one of the biggest reasons I continue going back to Sandals & Beaches Resorts is simple:

Everything really is included.

When we arrive, we can put the purses and wallets away and just enjoy the vacation. 🍹

Amazing dining, premium drinks, water sports, entertainment, gratuities, and so much more are already taken care of. There’s something incredibly relaxing about knowing you don’t have to think about what every meal, drink or activity is adding to the bill.

And as a travel advisor, I love being able to recommend a vacation experience that I’ve personally enjoyed for nearly three decades. ❤️

From our honeymoon almost 29 years ago to another Sandals adventure just 11 days away… I guess you could say Sandals has been part of my travel story for a very long time. 🌴

Disney Cruise Line has announced 7 sailings from NYC between September 29 and November 5, 2027, including Bermuda, Canada & New England — and several are Halloween on the High Seas sailings! 🎃👻🚢

Today is the final day of our Virgin Voyages Alaska adventure. 🛳️🏔️

It’s a sea day as we make our way back to Seattle, and today I’m doing exactly this… sitting back, watching the wake, and soaking it all in. ❤️

I know I’ve said it before, but Alaska was so much more than I expected. The scenery, the wildlife, the experiences—every single day brought another WOW moment.

I have so much more to share, but today I’m putting the phone down a little more and just enjoying these last few hours at sea. The rest can wait until I’m home.

And if an Alaska cruise hasn’t been on your bucket list… please reconsider.
