ATV/UTV Trails will be open for the weekend! See trail condition report for details (including 2 temporary re-routes) at

Trails are currently CLOSED for spring thaw. Stay tuned for trail opening, likely sometime in May. The Tri-County Corridor remains open, as do any local roads that are open to ATV/UTV traffic.

Happy Earth Day! As a destination with the natural world as the highlight, we are sharing this article about some things that we may be able to control in our everyday lives to help take care of the earth. More tips: be an involved citizen and make your voice heard, pick up stray garbage instead of walking past it, go outside without your phone and go for a walk while you look at and listen to nature.

Even better, take a drive through Bayfield County on the Ga***rd Nelson Highway (US 63) whose legacy includes numerous environmental achievements, including the founding of Earth Day, the creation of the Knowles-Nelson Stewardship Program, and the preservation of the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore and Ga***rd Nelson Wilderness Area.
