UPDATE: A Light in the Dark Glow Walk has been postponed until Saturday, September 26. The time and location will remain the same.

Although the rain may move out during part of the scheduled event time, the forecast calls for rain and potential storms throughout our critical setup window. Our volunteers, food trucks and over 30 community partners must begin setting up hours before the gates open, and many activities, displays and materials cannot be safely prepared in the rain.

After careful consideration, the planning committee determined that moving to the rain date gives us the best opportunity to provide the full and meaningful event experience our community deserves.

We know many people were looking forward to tonight, and we appreciate your understanding. We’ll see you September 26 at Tony’s Welding & Fabrication Stadium! Gates open at 6:30 p.m.

PUBLIC NOTICE

Road Closures for the Scarecrow Festival

Road Closures will begin on Tuesday, September 15 at 11PM and will reopen on Sunday,
September 20, 2026 after the close of the Scarecrow Festival.

The City of Washington Court House will be closing the following streets: Court Street
from Hinde Street to North Street, Main Street will be closed from Market Street to East
Street. South Main Street will be closed from East Street in area of the Center of Economic
Building and parking lot area. North Fayette Street will be closed from Market Street to
Court Street, and South Fayette Street will be closed from Court Street to East Street (if
needed). All alleys in the vicinity of these road closures will also be closed.

The City Municipal Lot on the corner of East Street and South Main Street will be closed
from 11PM on Tuesday, September 15, 2026 through Sunday, September 20th after the
festival.

City Municipal Lot on Court Street, between Good Dog Groomery and Oyaho Hibachi will
be closed on Thursday, September 17, 2026 by 7am.

Please have ALL vehicles removed within the announced areas before this time. Any vehicles remaining will be towed by the Washington Court House Police Department at the
owner’s expense.
