Want to learn about bonsai? Attend the Bonsai Festival! May 5th - 7th.

The festival, presented by the Potomac Bonsai Association in partnership with the U.S. National Arboretum, the National Bonsai Foundation, and the National Bonsai & Penjing Museum, will include an exhibition of bonsai by PBA members, formal bonsai displays, bonsai vendors, beginner workshops, and demonstrations and workshops led by renowned guest artist Suthin Sukosolvisit of Suthin Bonsai Studio.

Bonjour! It's the 20th annual Georgetown French Market April 28 - 30, 2023. This popular open-air market - originally inspired by those often seen in France - will feature sidewalk sales and specials from more than 30 locally-owned boutiques, cafés, and galleries along Wisconsin Avenue from O St to Reservoir Rd., plus a caricature artist, music, stilt-walkers, and more. Neighborhood restaurants will also offer food and drink specials featuring French cuisine and beyond - from pastries, croissants, and macarons, to lunch items grilled outside, and wine discounts.

FYI the Rock 'n' Roll Running Series will be in DC this Saturday, March 18th! Most road closures and detours on Saturday will be in effect between the hours of 7:00am and 1:30pm. Streets will reopen on a rolling basis as soon as the last participant has passed and all course support materials have been removed.
