Three years ago, October 7 became a day of unimaginable horror when Hamas terrorists carried out the deadliest attack on the Jewish people since the Holocaust.
Today, we remember the innocent lives brutally stolen, the families shattered, the hostages dragged into Gaza, and the extraordinary courage shown in the face of unspeakable evil.
But remembrance is not enough.
October 7 is a warning about what happens when hatred is tolerated, antisemitism is excused, and evil is met with silence.
We owe the victims more than our grief. We owe them our courage, our voices, and a promise that the hatred that murdered them will never be normalized, justified, or forgotten.
We will not allow history to be rewritten. We will not allow terrorism to be justified. And we will not be silent as antisemitism spreads.
Standing against antisemitism is not only a Jewish responsibility. It is an American one. It is a defense of the values that hold our country together.
History will judge our generation not by what we said after October 7, but by what we did in response.
Silence is a choice. So is courage. We choose courage.
