Yesterday was a balance of sending out quotes for 2026 vacations and enjoying our family time at Walt Disney World.
I did join my family in Hollywood Studios where there is some friendly competition on Toy Story Mania. I was in the lead until the end where you shoot at the target and my husband passed me. From there we entered the cartoon World on Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, went back in time for lunch at Sci Fi Dine In. After lunch we headed to Slinky Dog Dash where I was reminded just how much E has grown up this past year. We then headed to the Millennium Falcon Smugglers Run where I FINALLY got to be the pilot and take us to light speed! A & I then quickly rode Rock n Roller Coaster and headed back to the room for more quotes and tablet time for the kids.
In the evening we headed to Magic Kingdom for the Happily Ever After Firework Dessert party. Despite saying I needed an early night A and I ended up staying past closing as we rode Tiana’s Bayou a few times without a wait. We were laughing so hard at the end and it was some great mom & daughter time.

Miss A had on her wish list this trip to visit the Blue Ribbon Corndog stand now that the pickle corndog had moved East. She enjoyed it, but it was not my thing.
We had some down time in the room with kids on iPads and I was able to help a few families start their magical countdown.
We spent the evening in Epcot. Easter dinner was at Le Ciellier and we enjoyed the culinary offerings of Remy, discovered how to use our imagination with Figment, Soared Around the World. From there the boys went back to the resort while Adeline and I travelled back in time on Guardian’s Cosmic Rewind.
Luminous was taking flight as we walked out of the park. 🎆🎇

We had a great Easter morning in the Magic Kingdom. After breakfast at Crystal Palace we knew the first ride of the trip needed to be the People Mover. We then blasted Zerg on Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger, went back to work on Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, and swam with Ariel on under the Seas Adventure.
At that point it had been a full hour since the kids enjoyed sugar and needed a treat AND slushies in Big Top Circus.
After refueling we soared above London and visited Neverland on Peter Pan’s Flight and sailed on the friendliest boat ride I’ve found on “it’s a small World”.
For lunch Adeline wants to try a new specialty item. So we are headed back to the resort. Can you guess what it is?

Yesterday was a prime example of why I advise to have a go with the flow plan on your arrival day. Our flight was delayed by 4 hours and then there was not a gate for us when we arrived at MCO so we had to wait for 30 minutes to park. So while we planned a 2 pm arrival we did not get to Boardwalk until a little after 7. In the Lyft I jumped on the app and scheduled a 7:45 pm reservation at Yatsman steakhouse. Then we walked back to the Boardwalk as the fireworks at Epcot and stopped to watch. Not having reservations for the day we were still able to find a nice option to celebrate being on vacation.

‼️ Disney Destiny Sneak Peek ‼️ MickeyTravels was invited to a special preview TODAY so that we can share more about this amazing ship with you!

“Disney Hercules” will stay true to the story and spirit of the beloved film with a fresh, contemporary retelling centered around the legendary soundtrack. Featuring a celebration of iconic songs like “Go the Distance,” “Zero to Hero” and “I Won’t Say I’m in Love,” this show will present incredible live renditions like you’ve never heard before through new musical arrangements inspired by the soulfulness of gospel music with the energy of a pop concert.

In addition to all of the songs from the film, “Disney Hercules” will include the theatrical debut of “Shooting Star,” a heartfelt ballad originally written for the movie by Alan Menken and David Zippel.

All of your favorite gods, mortals and mythical beings from the movie will be part of the story, many represented in surprising new ways.

Like the film, the Muses will be the show’s storytellers, and their over-the-top personalities and transcendent vocals will shine on stage. High-fashion costume designs will showcase the opulence of the gods of Mount Olympus and contrast starkly with the more understated and humble attire worn by the humans and creatures of Earth.

Award-winning puppet designer Michael Curry is bringing to life some of this tale’s most larger-than-life characters through jaw-dropping puppetry, building on the innovative designs we debuted in “Disney The Tale of Moana” aboard the Disney Treasure last year. Embodying the ship’s theme of “heroes and villains,” our new show will use these massive puppets to represent the mythological behemoths — like the multi-headed Hydra monster — that Hercules must defeat to fulfill his hero’s journey.

Developed exclusively for the Disney Destiny, “Disney Hercules” will be one of three stage shows aboard the new ship, along with fan-favorites “Frozen, A Musical Spectacular” and “Disney Seas the Adventure.”

Hello! My name is Amber Seeds!

My passion for all things Disney began in Disneyland when my parents would load me into the baby carrier and explore the park. Disneyland is where I formed so many of my core memories throughout my childhood and is a happy place for me.

I was able to visit Walt Disney World Resort twice as a child, but truly found the Magic of the parks in 2007 when my now husband proposed in Cinderella’s Royal Table. We now travel to Walt Disney World Resort as often as we can with our two children. We love to leave the stress of our daily lives and create magical memories as a family.

One of my favorite things about all of the Disney Destinations is that they are customizable to fit so many different needs and budgets. I have planned family, adult only, and multigenerational trips and I am so excited to have the opportunity to work with you to create a vacation that is the perfect fit. No matter if its the Disney Theme Parks & Resorts, Disney Cruise Line, Adventures by Disney, or Disney’s Aulani Resort & Spa – I am available to help choose your resort, book dining and FastPasses, and highlight any extras that might help you achieve the goals for your magical vacation.
