Easter morning at Magic Kingdom has become a tradition in our family. 💐✨

We started the our day with a picture perfect boat ride to the Magic Kingdom from Disney's Polynesian instead of the monorail - but both are great options to start a magical day in the Magic Kingdom.

We quickly walked up Main Street to Crystal Palace, and honestly, it’s hard to beat breakfast with Winnie the Pooh and friends. Between the churro waffles (yes, they’re as good as they sound) and that warm, cheesy potato casserole, everyone at the table was happy before we even stepped onto Main Street.

From there, it was straight into Magic Kingdom with absolutely perfect weather — one of those days you wish you could bottle up. The kids were off on their own little adventures: soaring through London with Peter Pan, stopping to enjoy some live music with Tiana, and of course taking a necessary break for Mickey bars (because… priorities).

We wandered through a few ghostly haunts at Haunted Mansion, visited the Hundred Acre Wood, and even got digitized on TRON — which is just as cool as it sounds. We wrapped up the afternoon with a relaxing spin on the PeopleMover, soaking it all in.
The park had such a festive Easter vibe — special character sightings, a springtime parade, and just that extra layer of magic you don’t always get every visit.

One little tip from today: rope dropping made a huge difference. Wait times stayed really manageable until around 10:30, and then the crowds definitely picked up and it turned into a busy park day. Getting in early was everything.

Days like this are exactly why I love helping families plan these trips — it’s not just about the rides, it’s about those little moments you don’t expect that end up being your favorite part 💛

If you’ve been thinking about a spring trip, this is your sign 🌸 2027 isn't open for bookings quite yet, but will be soon. Reach out so we can start planning now!

There’s something kind of perfect about the way a Disney day can unfold—even when it doesn’t start exactly as planned ✨

We arrived at the Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort around 11:00 AM, and while our room wasn’t quite ready yet, it honestly didn’t slow us down one bit. We dropped our bags with Bell Services (so convenient!) and decided to make the most of the morning.

Next stop: EPCOT via the monorail 🚝—and that ride never gets old.

We spent the late morning and afternoon wandering through the Flower & Garden Festival, taking in all the incredible topiaries (seriously, the detail is amazing 🌸), and just enjoying that relaxed, springtime vibe EPCOT does so well.

We also used Lightning Lane Multi Pass to hop on a few favorites—Spaceship Earth, Soarin’, and Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure—which made it super easy to fit a lot in without feeling rushed. It saved us so much time compared to the stand by queue.

By the time we got that “your room is ready” text, we had already had a full, fun Disney day—and still had the evening ahead of us back at the Polynesian.

Moments like this are a good reminder: even “in-between” time at Disney can turn into some of the best memories.

If you’ve ever wondered how to make the most of arrival day (or how to plan around those little timing gaps), I’m always happy to share what works 💛

✨ I am staying at the Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian this week 🌺🌴

Here are a few of my highlights so far—plus a quick look at the different villa options if you’re thinking about staying here:

🌊 The rooms — brand new, beautifully designed, and SO spacious. I am staying in a 1 bedroom villa, and it truly feels like a home away from home with a full kitchen, living area, two full bathrooms, and even a washer/dryer 🙌

There are options for every type of traveler:
• Duo Studios — perfect for couples (sleep 2) and a great smaller, cozy option
• Deluxe Studios — sleeps up to 4–5 with a kitchenette and more room to spread out
• 1 Bedroom Villas — full kitchen, living space, washer/dryer… perfect for longer stays
• Two-Bedroom Villas — ideal for larger families or groups (sleeps up to 9!)
• Two-Bedroom Penthouse Villas — the ultimate splurge with incredible views and tons of space ✨

🚝 Easy access to Magic Kingdom — hopping on the monorail from the Polynesian never gets old. It makes getting to and from the parks incredibly convenient.
🍍 The food — from DOLE Whip to ‘Ohana, everything has been amazing so far 😍
🎆 Fireworks views — watching Happily Ever After from the beach is pure magic. No crowds, just that perfect island vibe.
🌅 The atmosphere — it truly feels like a tropical escape right in the middle of Disney. Peaceful, beautiful, and such a nice balance to the busy parks.

I’ll be sharing more, but if you’ve been curious about the new Island Tower, it is already living up to the hype 💫
