Dr. King stood on this spot to deliver his famous “I have a Dream” speech in August of 1963. But even before that historic event, the Lincoln Memorial was a backdrop for civil rights protests. Like the free concert that Marian Anderson gave on Easter Sunday in 1939 after she was disallowed to perform at the Daughters of The American Revolution (DAR) Constitution Hall. Join us for a National Mall tour to learn more hidden history of DC!

Washington DC is a majestic city full of wonderful and awe inspiring sites, sounds, and people that create a lasting impression on the visitor. Due to sercurity concerns for our staff and to comply with recommendations from city officials it is with a heavy heart that we announce we will not be giving any tours until January 23.

A note from our founder, Andrew Rawls:
I can remember the excitement in the air when I traveled to Washington DC on a cold January day in 2009 to witness the swearing in of Barack Obama. There was an energy that was palpable among all the millions of people visiting for that historic occasion. Unfortunately, due to the inflammatory rhetoric coming from that same office, we are not able to create once in a lifetime experiences for guests coming to witness another historic first; that of the first woman being sworn in as the Vice President of the United States.

Rest assured we will be ready to go when it is safe to guide guests and illuminate all that Washington DC has to offer.
