The weekend is almost here - don't forget to sign up to volunteer with us!

Join us for a socially-distant outdoor event on Saturday, October 9th, 2021 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm in Rock Creek Park! We will be volunteering with Rock Creek Conservancy to help remove invasive plant species and keep Rock Creek healthy. This is a great way to get outside, better our local community, and meet fellow ITA DC members.

Impact Travel Alliance is a global community and 501(c)3 nonprofit aimed at improving the world through travel. We educate travelers and empower travelers with the knowledge they need to have a positive impact on local communities and our environment. Our initiatives are based on education and advocacy around sustainable tourism – travel that has a positive impact on a destination’s environment, economy and culture.

For our fall event, we chose to focus on our own backyard, making a positive impact on the environment of DC by taking action. Please register directly with Rock Creek Conservancy at the link below. Hope to see you there!
