Say hello to Betty Daniel, Senior Fleet Manager at Greyhound and a dedicated leader with nearly three decades of experience in the transportation industry. Starting her journey in 1995 as a ticket agent in Austin, TX, she quickly rose through the ranks, taking on a variety of operational roles before finding her calling in Fleet Management where she focuses on ensuring the success and safety of her fleet operations.
Now the primary point of contact for all things fleet-related at Greyhound, she oversees nationwide fleet distribution, manages daily operations, and leads the response to escalated incidents and collisions. One of her proudest accomplishments? Securing nearly $1 million in annual tolling discounts for Greyhound through strategic negotiations with New York tolling authorities—a true testament to her initiative and impact.
She brings to WIB not only a wealth of operational knowledge but also a deep appreciation for the powerful role women play in a historically male-dominated field. After attending a Women in Buses event at the ABA conference in Philadelphia, she was inspired to join and be part of the movement driving innovation and progress in transportation.
