Only one change in the top 10 of the 43rd annual K/D Salmon Tournament on a rough-water Monday, with Les Smith's 23.63 registered at Baileys 57 moving into the 8th spot.

Austin Novak is shown with the current 2nd place fish, a 25.95-pounder caught off Washington Island and registered Sunday.

The 50 heaviest Chinooks through the first three days of the 43rd annual K/D Salmon Tournament range from 19.51 to 33.60 pounds. Most of the larger fish are running between 20-25 pounds. If things continue at this pace, it's possible that the tournament will pay down into the upper teens — something that hasn't happened for years.

It's K/D Week! You've got until midnight Tuesday to get in on the early-bird action. Ticket sales continue during the event, but need to be purchased before you fish. There are nine ticket outlets. Two of them sell 24/7: JP Express BP in Algoma and JP Express BP north of Carlsville.

Everyone on the boat, whether fishing or not, must have a current K/D ticket. Fishing must be done in Wisconsin waters, only off of Kewaunee or Door counties. You can have another member of your group pick up your ticket if they have all your information. They need to initial the bottom, and you'll need to sign your own ticket stating you agree to the rules before you fish.

Did the Duck Creek Walleye Series championship as a fill in for a buddy that had to be out of town. His wife Dani and I managed to fine a few to put us in some money!!!

9th goes to Dani Baker and her partner. Ryan couldn’t make it for the championship but definitely found a solid replacement. Thank you for fishing the Duck Creek series.
