Death's door charters & scenic tours, LLC are for those that like to explore and have adventure on lake Michigan. Charter fishing guests will enjoy the hunt for king salmon and a variety of trout up in Washington Island And Rock Island. For those that like a more leisure trip and would like to learn more about the beautiful surroundings of the Islands, then our scenic tour is just what you need! Captain Victor Novak has over 20 years experience fishing on Lake Michigan. Born in Kewaunee and raised in Denmark, WI being on the water is second nature to the Captain. Ensuring that guests of all ages have a good time and enjoy their experience. Captain Victor is very hands on and knowledgeable. Captain Victor is a USCG OUPV Licensed Captain. Death's Door Charters and Scenic Tours, LLC is on a 21 1/2' Crestliner Eagle. We are able to accommodate 1-4 guests. Having a good time are bound to make ever lasting memories you will remember for a life time! Maybe you will have your own fishtail to tell after your adventure with Captain Victor?

Many thanks to WDNR Fisheries managers and staff, and the advocacy of the Washington Island Sportsman’s Club for today’s delivery of 5,673 brown trout from the Brule State Fish Hatchery in far Northern WI, delivered and deposited by ferry to the Island’s West side.
These 1 yr old fish, 6-8” in size, restart a once productive and exciting fishery with hopes for planned annual stocking in the future.
