🇺🇸The Traveling America’s 250 Mural is on permanent display at the Daviess County Government Center. 300 E Hefron St. Washington Indiana
🇺🇸The mural created by Veteran & artist Izzy Reyes, ( Murals of Honor) traveled throughout the county during the peak of Americas 250th Birthday Celebration.
🇺🇸It has several notable Daviess County historical icons represented and most notably the tribute to the armed forces and all of the Wars & Conflicts.
🇺🇸To our namesake Major Joseph Hamilton Daveiss, who lost his life in the battle of Tippecanoe. .(Daveiss is spelled historically accurate- it changed later within the history records)
🇺🇸Thank you Izzy for creating a beautiful reminder of where we’ve been, who we are, and the service to our country that so many have given.
