What were you doing at 230am? 🥹🐾 Our poor baby made it through his dog door, limped his way upstairs, and came to wake us up. We had to rush Coho to the Pet ER an hr away because he had the unfortunate event of meeting a porcupine for the first time. Several hours later he got stitches on his front left paw because the quills were deep and now we are finally headed home. Hope you have a better morning than we did. 😑

Hi all, wanted to check in with you real quick. After an ice fishing season 🌬️ HEAVILY 🌬️ influenced by Mother Nature and her winds of wrath (120 mph peaks over a ten day period) we regrouped, got a total new roof put on our house in February from the damage.....and picked up the pieces of what was left of the ice fishing season. We had equipment failures which led us to purchasing 3 brand new snowmobiles (!WHAT!), but once again we picked up the pieces and pressed on. It was definitely one to remember and to forget about as soon as possible!!!!!! Thanks to all of you who joined us for this wild winter and held on tight with us as we remained flexible and dealt with things as they happened. Through all that mess, Dan had his toenail ripped off on his big toe in early February and Sonia tore her ACL/MCL and had a bone bruise in early January. Luckily surgery was not necessary. Dan tore a ligament in his right elbow and had to go through physical therapy while trying to run ice fishing trips. We were patched together quite cleverly. But luckily we survived and are back stronger and more determined than ever! ......and does Dan look a little different? Through all that mess he managed to lose 50 POUNDS!!!! 💪 (stress helped a lot too 😉)

We are back so hang on tight because HERE WE GO!

Today was day 2 of 2 and I wanted to showcase these two boys as our first social media post for this summer. Me and these young anglers had a terrific time this morning. Just carrying on like we knew each other for years and had a ball on just a terrific morning of fishing. Mom and dad had a great time as well. There were many more pictures, but what I really wanted to highlight was how intrigued these guys were about every facet of the great sport of fishing. It was truly wonderful and these are the days that make it all worth it in this thing we do called "guiding". ❤️🎣

From taking you fishing, creating priceless memories, and processing your fish (which means we'll clean, fillet, & put in a bag for you to take back to your lodging). 👀 For an additional small fee we also can fillet fish to your preference, vacuum seal, freeze, and place in a fish box for you to check in with your luggage or we can 📦🐟 mail the fish home to you. 😯 What a smoking deal right!?!?
