We were lucky enough to team up with Lux Studio LLC and Lovely Picnic Company for this adorable Galentines Day event😍

The winner & her friends had a fun, relaxing afternoon getting their hair and makeup professional done then enjoyed snacks and drinks around this adorable picnic setting!

Hi everyone!

It has been awhile since we have posted anything and I thought it would be a great time to introduce ourselves.

We are Mike & Taylor - husband & wife duo🖤

He does the construction, I do the design. Together, we create great things! At least, we like to think so. We have been named the "Midwest Chip & Jo" so that is a great compliment.

Our Airbnb's have been booked pretty much constantly and the feedback we have received from you all has been heartwarming. We worked so hard to get the 2 houses flipped and available so you guys so you can come enjoy Waterloo!🏡

🔨Mike has worked in construction for over 15 years and in the last 5 years has focused more on residential. It was primarily commercial before with the exception of personal homes and rentals. He has his Bachelors in Engineering - specializing in HVAC and masters in Business. So I think we can all agree that he's pretty legit!🔨

🎨I (Taylor) found my place in interior design after losing my dad. I wanted to do something that would make him proud. I signed back up for school to earn my degree and fingers crossed I will be registered soon (In Illinois & Missouri, anyone can be a designer. It takes schooling & a state test to become registered). It's the perfect mix of art and construction.🎨

We started KB Contracting shortly after we got married and it TOOK OFF! We never expected (only hoped) to grow like we have this fast. But that is all thanks to you!

Just a little over a year ago, I started DPF Designs and have helped many clients create a space they love.

We truly love what we do and love that we were able to provide 2 little cottages to you all when you visit.

If you see us out and about, come say hi! We love meeting our supporters👋🏼
