Oak came up hard last night. Dock's actually under water this morning.

Medina was close to 2 inches. Not raining now. Stained and still swinging at the dam. Mostly sunny today.

Oak came up on that rain. Above the dam Shelby is around 71 cfs this morning (high 20s yesterday), so the creek actually rose — not just the hydro pulsing. Medina Mesonet put down about an inch in the last day; it's not raining now. Below the dam they're still swinging hard and the water's a little dirtier than yesterday. More showers possible today, wetter Wednesday.

Last night’s rain stained The Bridges hard. Clarity went from about 5 during the day to the 90s after dark. It’s been settling all day and is back around the low teens this afternoon. Upstream is still low and warm. Dam pulsing like usual. Too warm for early steel, but if you’re coming this weekend watch the stain below the dam. Full read:

Steady August day on the Oak. Smallmouth should be moving this afternoon if you're on the water. Tomorrow morning looks wetter, so if you're picking a window, today is the cleaner one.
