Yesterday, we had the honor of supporting South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks at a wonderful community fishing event at Forsberg City Park alongside Governor Larry Rhoden. 🎣

GFP staff and the Blue Dog State Fish Hatchery stocked fish into the city pond while Governor Rhoden helped kick off fundraising efforts for important improvements at the hatchery. Community members of all ages came out to enjoy the outdoors, learn more about fishing, and support a great cause.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the morning such a fun and memorable event! ☀️🐟

This Memorial Day, we honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. 🇺🇸 Terry Redlin’s "An American Portrait" series pays tribute to fallen heroes and their families through seven heartfelt paintings on permanent display at the Redlin Art Center in Watertown, SD.

Open Memorial Day, Monday, May 25, from 12–5 p.m.

Admission is free.

Join us Tuesday, May 26 at 9:00 a.m. at Forsberg City Park in Watertown for a special community fishing event!

Staff from South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks (GFP) and the Blue Dog State Fish Hatchery will be on-site to stock fish into the Forsberg city pond. Governor Larry Rhoden will also be joining us to help kick off fundraising efforts for important improvements at the Blue Dog State Fish Hatchery.

Whether you're an experienced angler or brand new to fishing, you’re encouraged to come out and enjoy the morning! GFP staff will be available to help, and a select number of fishing rods will be provided for use.

Come enjoy the outdoors, support a great cause, and cast a line with us! 🎣💙

Summer fun is just around the corner! ☀️⛸️ Watertown Park and Rec has released its summer programs at the rink. Whether your skater is just starting out or preparing for the next season, there’s something for everyone! Visit www.watertownice.com for schedules and details.

Summer is just around the corner, and we’re excited to share our program and event schedule. The program flyer contains drop-in programming which is offered through Watertown Park and Rec in collaboration with our local partners. In addition, there are numerous camps which are open for registration. Lastly, rinks are open to rent for any occasion from our birthday party package to large community groups. Whether your skater is just getting started or looking to sharpen their skills for the upcoming seasons, we have something for everyone.
