The Waterville Valley Athletic and Improvement Association, WVAIA is partnering with SOLO Schools International to offer an introductory WILDERNESS FIRST AID course in Waterville Valley.

America's Ballparks with Patrick May -- RESCHEDULED to this Thursday, Aug. 27, 6-7:30 PM, at the Town of Waterville Valley Recreation Department! Everyone's welcome ๐Ÿ‘

โšพ The major and minor league ballparks scattered across the country un-scatter the people who live in those places and bring them together across generations and politics. Retired PSU professor Patrick May will be sharing photos and stories from the 142 parks he has personally visited and will include some of the fascinating urban geography and history that makes each park unique. Patrick taught geography at PSU for 25 years where he developed the social studies education program and coordinated the geography and environmental planning programs. His teaching interests are in cultural, historical, and urban geography.

The Speaker Series is co-hosted by the Recreation Department and The Rey Cultural Center.
