I wanted to take a moment and thank this gentleman on the left (Jake Smith) for his hard work and dedication for the past five years. I couldn't have done it without your help and support along the way. You have been my right hand man since the day I stepped into this position in the company and I cant thank you enough for all the phone calls you make and the times you step in when I need to be away with my family. You are a good man Jake thank you for all you do.

Welcome to the official page for Maine Energy Pros, Inc. We are a family-owned company based in Waterville, Maine, with over 12 years of experience in energy retrofitting and construction.
The Beginning
In 2006, Eric and Chris Poirier founded Poirier Capital Investment Group, doing business as Maine Energy Pros, Inc., (MEP). The company’s vision was to offer specialized services to fill the need in the greater Waterville area for homeowners and businesses alike to save money on energy costs through weatherization and air sealing.
Expansion and Growth
In 2016 MEP grew from one (1) crew with five (5) employees to two (2) crews and 12 employees. Later, in 2017, an additional Project Manager was hired and a third crew was added in response to the company’s growth.
Over the years, Maine Energy Pros, Inc., has also expanded its services offered in order to adapt to the changing needs of our clients. Through extensive networking and by systematically building positive working relationships, MEP now partners with numerous agencies, municipalities and businesses on both large and small weatherization, construction and rehab projects up to $250,000. Our service area has also expanded beyond central Maine, to include parts of eastern and southern Maine. We are known for delivering quality work with proven results.
The Future
In the near future, we are poised for additional expansion. Furthermore, we plan to secure approval for greater bonding in order to scale up our operations by including jobs up to $500,000. As always, we will continue to service our clients’ needs in a personable and professional manner.
