What must be confirmed before restaurant FF&E can be ordered?

A selected dining chair, pendant light, or custom banquette still needs a complete specification to move confidently into purchasing and production.

Before placing an order, confirm:

• Dimensions, quantities, and site measurements
• Materials, finishes, and commercial performance requirements
• Required shop drawings, samples, and approvals
• Final pricing, production timing, and conditions for releasing the order
• Freight, receiving, storage, and installation responsibilities

One scheduling detail deserves particular attention: when does the production clock start? For custom products, lead time may begin after final approvals and deposits are received. Those milestones belong in the purchasing schedule.
