The fall colors are here, the weather forecast is absolutely amazing for the foreseeable future, and Waynesboro's street art is looking pretty great right now. 🍁🎨

For a city of our size, we've got one of the best public art collections around with more than 30 installations, and 24 you can see with a leisurely two-mile stroll downtown. If you're in town visiting or a local who has been putting it off, there couldn't be a better week to check out Waynesboro's street art scene.

Stop by the Waynesboro Visitors Center for a Street Arts Trail guide Monday-Friday, or download the Visit Waynesboro app and head to Challenges for the digital version.

🍁 BONUS! Waynesboro Public Library is hosting a guided Street Arts Walking Tour on November 14! Registration is required, and there's still room, but these tours usually fill up fast!

Waynesboro's Virginia Fall Foliage Art Show is back downtown this weekend and celebrating its 55th year🍂

For 55 years, this show has filled downtown Waynesboro with fine artists and thousands of visitors. And this weekend, October 10-11 from 10am - 5pm, 160 artists are coming to do it all over again.

In celebration, we dug through the archives and found these photos from 15 or so years ago, and there's a lot to look at! The tents, the crowds, the art? Those haven't changed much. Downtown Waynesboro? That's definitely looking different these days. If you have old photos from the show or downtown, drop them in the comments! We'd love to see them!

Waynesboro does Halloween like Hallmark does Christmas. We get really into it. There are pumpkin patches, corn mazes, trick-or-treating, reasons to wear costumes for like a month, fall festivals, themed workshops, spooky theater, a legit haunted mill, Grave Raves, dance parties...like I said, we get really into it. 🎃🧟

Bring a chair and listen to live music by McHale and Justina at 2pm and The Hot Mamas at 4pm, get free face painting by Jamie Paints, customize a t-shirt with Destination Downtown Waynesboro, and more! All happening The Russell Museum from 12-6pm!

And it's obvious that Waynesboro loves our dogs! More than 3,000 votes were cast in the Top Dog Contest and we are ready to announce the winners and the runners up!

🥇First Prize: Bianco! Bianco will receive a 60-minute photo session with Mattie Ledford Photography, a monogrammable Waynesboro's Top Dog bowl from Initial Inspiration, and two $5 Kline's Dairy Bar - Waynesboro gift cards for pup cups!

Chili🌶️. Blues🎷. Brews🍻. The name says it all!

The Virginia Chili, Blues n' Brews Festival is back in Downtown Waynesboro this Saturday, September 12! Spend the day tasting chili, listening to live blues, and grabbing a craft b**r.

NEW THIS YEAR: Shuttle service! Free shuttle service starts at 11:45 am from the parking lot beside the Wayne Theatre for lots A and B at 521 W Main Street, with additional stops at lots F and G after lots A through E fill up. See the map below!

Festival gates open at noon! We'll see you Downtown!
