💫A few weeks ago I had the amazing opportunity to preview Epic Universe courtesy of Boardwalk Travel Agency and Universal Studios. We stayed at the Helios Grand Hotel and it was absolutely beautiful. One of the best perks was having our own private entrance into Epic Universe completely separate from the main gate. It made the whole experience feel seamless and exclusive. Being able to walk right back to our room for a quick break during the hotter parts of the day or just to rest our feet was a total game changer. Another huge benefit of staying at a Universal resort is that guests get early access to the parks before they open to the general public. It gave us a head start on some of the most popular attractions without the crowds.

Let’s talk about Celestial Park. This was the very first area we stepped into at Epic Universe, and it completely took our breath away. The fountains, the gardens, the music. Amazing! It all created such an incredible atmosphere right from the start. My husband rode Stardust Racers and came off grinning ear to ear, saying it was fast, smooth, and just the perfect kind of thrill. I’ll believe him since I will probably never ride.😆

🎠✨But the real highlight for me was the Constellation Carousel. I’ve never seen anything like it. It is not your traditional carousel. It was whimsical, and so beautifully designed with glowing, creatures that felt like they were pulled straight from the stars. And the best part? When we rode, it was just the two of us. It felt like we had the whole park to ourselves. Truly magical and definitely a moment I’ll never forget.✨

🍕We then stopped by Pizza Moon and split the Galactic Pizza and a Caesar salad. It was a fun experience with a cool atmosphere, and the pizza was good—but nothing that blew us away. We’d definitely will try other pizza toppings next time around. 🥗🥤

✨Just got back from the most amazing weekend at Universal’s Helios Grand Hotel and I’m officially obsessed!

The location was EVERYTHING. I could literally walk right into Epic Universe! The lodge itself was absolutely stunning—and the view of Epic Universe when you first walk in instantly reminded me why I booked here. No regrets at all.🎢⛲️

I stayed in a 2 Queen room with a stunning pool view—the view alone made the stay worth it! The room had sleek modern features, including a button to open and close the drapes (loved that!). The bathroom setup was perfect too, with a separate shower, toilet, and vanity that made getting ready a breeze.🛏️🚿

The pool was huge, super clean, and they even offered complimentary sunscreen and swim diapers for the little ones—such a thoughtful touch! The gym was impressive with tons of equipment, and if you forget your headphones, no worries—they’ll provide them for free!

Now, let’s talk food🍽️—Helios Grand has fantastic dining options: 🥗🥘🍮
• Flora Taverna: A full-service restaurant offering a full breakfast buffet, Mediterranean comfort foods, pizza oven, and a gyro station.
• Aurora Market: A grab-and-go café with coffee, pastries, sandwiches, salads, and even gelato—perfect for quick bites before heading out.
• Lotus Lagoon: Poolside dining with snacks, appetizers, and refreshing drinks available right from your lounge chair.
•Bar Helios: 🍸A rooftop lounge with panoramic views, creative cocktails, and a variety of tapas, seafood, burgers, and more. Dining here felt like a special experience in itself.

Room service was fast and delicious, with a great range of options, including dishes from Flora Taverna. Whether it was a late-night snack or a relaxing dinner in the room, everything arrived hot, fresh, and flavorful.

Every staff member I interacted with was incredibly friendly and helpful.

Thinking about a trip to Universal, Helios Grand is hands-down the place to stay. I’m already looking forward to my next visit.
