The Rosetta Kormuth DeVito Lecture Series at Waynesburg University welcomes nationally recognized faith and work leader Jordan Raynor for a lecture on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, from 7–9 p.m. in Alumni Hall on the third floor of Miller Hall. Raynor will present “Redeeming Your AI,” exploring the intersection of faith, work and artificial intelligence.

Raynor is a bestselling author, speaker and entrepreneur who has helped Christians connect their faith to their work. He is the author of Redeeming Your Time, The Sacredness of Secular Work, The Creator in You and Five Mere Christians. He also serves as Executive Chairman of Threshold 360, has been selected twice as a Google Fellow and previously served in the White House under President George W. Bush.

The Rosetta Kormuth DeVito Lecture Series was created to explore topics related to business, culture and the arts, bringing timely and engaging speakers to Waynesburg University for students and the community. The series is funded by the DeVito family.

Step back into Greene County’s Revolutionary-era past as Luke and Zach Patton explore the history of Fort Jackson, a frontier fort located near present-day Waynesburg. Learn how the fort was built, how it provided refuge for local settlers, and the important role it played in protecting the region during the American Revolution. The lecture will be held Tuesday, September 8, at 6 p.m. at the Cornerstone Genealogical Society in Waynesburg.

This talk is part of the Cornerstone Genealogical Society's monthly meetings, which feature topics of local historical interest. The public is invited to attend these meetings, held on the second Tuesday of each month at 6pm in the old log cabin courthouse adjoining their library.

Celebrating its 55th year, the festival takes place across 9 historic covered bridge sites across the two counties and features more than 300 local vendors, handmade arts & crafts, live entertainment, food, historical demonstrations, and more. Just like each bridge, every site is completely unique from the last, making the weekend one worth bringing all your friends and family along to explore each unique site. 🍁
