Earlier this week, our office had the pleasure of attending the Reidsville Chamber of Commerce's ribbon-cutting for Ink & Ivy Bookshop, one of Reidsville's newest small businesses and the city's only bookstore. 📚✂️

What a wonderful addition to our community! Small businesses like Ink & Ivy help make Reidsville and Rockingham County such special places to live, work, and visit. From unique finds to a welcoming atmosphere, it's exciting to see a locally owned bookstore become part of our downtown landscape.

If you haven't had the chance to stop by and explore their new space, consider adding it to your weekend plans while you're out enjoying all that RoCo has to offer. Be sure to shop local and help welcome Ink & Ivy to the community!

Tonight's Line Up at Charlie Poole Festival is going to be fire...but don't worry, the auditorium at Rockingham Community College is nice and cool! The music starts at 6:30 - come early and enjoy dinner with either Tasty Bonz food truck or the Eagle Cafe.

It takes a village to keep RoCo clean and beautiful! Thank you to our incredible partners at Dan River Basin Association for always stepping up the plate!

In ice hockey, a team of people using Zambonis preserve the ice to create a pristine playing surface (shout out to the Carolina Hurricanes playing for the Stanley Cup!). In the great outdoors, it’s a team of volunteers, non-profits, land managers and responsible visitors working to ensure our outdoor spaces are safe and clean. Thank you to all those who dedicate their time to preserve North Carolina’s incredible places for generations to come.

And … go ‘Canes!
