Two weeks down for Moose hunting 1 more for Cow week. Both we were faced with undesirable weather but kept our spirits high had a blast, made some new friends and had great family vacation time. Zone 19 and Zone 2.

With 2026 Bear season coming to a close, I'd like to give a shout out to all our team that held us together. My son Dave and grandson Caleb and Kasey Who kept the stands and bait rolling.Our in house shooting and compass specialist Pete, My hunny that made the meals and desserts taste delicious 😋. And my cooking and warming team. My Dad and 2nd best friend runner up Johnny Rocco. We made some new friends had alot of laughs in a tougher than normal bear year.
Now on to Moose hunting!!

Usually we are up for selling hunts or fishing trips to day at Black Ghost our hearts are heavy. We lost a special client and friend on Sunday. Steve Evans, hunted with us for over 10 years. We had the chance to harvest Bear, deer, turkey, grouse and even a Bull Moose. Steve was a pleasure to have at camp, always willing to help and ready for a laugh anytime. One of the guys invited to our personal house to hunt with us. He loved the wild game dishes Wendy prepared and raved over he desserts 🍨. Steve on every hunt was always the last client to leave and even share a tear of how grateful he was to be a part of our extended family.
Steve will be missed.
