Happy New Year!!!! We had a great record breaking Bear Season with 20 Bears Harvested! And had one double, and helped my girl with a Grandslam!!

Week two started off Big. We headed North to hunt around one of our Bear leases. Seeing big bucks over the years gave me an idea where a few might hang out. That paid off big for Pete today as he added a Big ten point possibility his first patch buck to his long history of being a successful hunter.

I've created a monster! My sweetheart has been getting more interested in hunting over the years. With a passion for hunting Spring Turkey. This year she drew a moose permit and in the thrill of competition set her sites on a grandslam. Well tonight she made it happen in a big way. Not only did she get it done but with an 8 point patch buck.

We got it done yesterday evening. We had a fun trip with some close friends that pitched in to make our hunt successful.thanks again Pete and John. My honey is on the way to a grand slam patch. Deer hunting next.

Great start to the 3rd week.
First my honey put the smack down on her first bear on the way to a hopeful GRANDSLAM. Than Pete and Bill scored tonight on a couple.
