All proceeds go to the childrens scholarships fund at our American Legion, and stays local

Per Dickie-

Due to the weather and the heat that they're predicting for this upcoming Wednesday, we are postponing our weekly cruise'n.
Being out on the black top will only contribute that heat for us, so for safety reasons....

There will be NO cruise'n for Carthage Memory Lane Cruise'n for July 16th

We hope to see everyone the following Wednesday, July 23rd

Its been brought to our attention that the Show in Lyons Falls last weekend (an awesome show I might add)
Had 52 (yes fifty-two) cars that came in and DID NOT PAY.
SHAME ON YOU IF YOU WERE ONE OF THEM!!!!
I am affiliated with 4 different car groups and a lot of us travel in together as abig group.
Watertown Street Rods, Carthage Memory Lane Cruise'n, 315 Cruiser's and Northern Cruisers
If I thought for one minute one of ours didn't pay, I'd be all over them.
The time, work, and money that goes into one of these BIG shows and the behind the scenes that nobody notices, is beyond more them one can imagine!

When I heard of this, I was absolutly disgusted.

To the ones that didn't pay, shame on them!!
I hope the word gets out and people are shamed enough to come forward.
**Its not hard for them to figure out who it was, everyone was given a numbers card upon entry, and the cards that weren't turned back in.... well they would be the ones that didnt pay!
They used an honor system, and unfortunatly were shown just how low graded people are.

Its a sad world we live in, and that we can't even trust our own type of people (I think of car people my type of people)
But in this case, those who didn't pay are no more then a thief (as far as I'm concerned)

I hope by spreading the word within all the groups that I'm affiliated with, the word will get out, and make things better in the future
Again, Im sorry to the ones that run that show, Especially Wesley, its an amazing show, and its very appreciated by the honest people that paid!!

The Lyons Falls Car Show tomorrow July 5th

Just a reminder of tomorrow's plan for those interested in traveling as a group:

1st Meet- 8:30am Aubachon Plaza Carthage
Pulling out 8:45

Headed to Tops in Lowville
We'll be leaving Tops headed for Lyons Falls at 9:30

This will give us plenty of time to organize once we get there and allow us to all park together.

If you decided to travel up later on, be safe and we'll see yous there.
