Buddy’s Water Ice in Norristown- Every summer for over 45 years you can find Buddy himself at his old school neighborhood water ice stand. Nothing is better in this heat than some fresh water ice or gelati and a pretzel. Back in the day this part of norristown used to havemany old school Italian places and its great to see Buddy still here. Good water ice and even better prices! Stay cool my friends!

Frank Pepe’s - A classic New Haven Pie. Also thin, crispy, and delicious, but maybe Modern is still on top?! Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana
Zeneli’s Pizzeria - not New Haven style, but decided to try a Neapolitan style pie right down the street from Franks & Sally’s. For a Neapolitan style pie, it was really great! No complaints! Zeneli pizzeria

Small business spotlight!! If you’re in need of custom cookies or desserts for your event, make sure to check out Ale’s Kitchen! Ale was able to make these custom cookies and they are not only beautiful, but delicious!! She also was able to package them perfectly for traveling!

Checked out this cool new spot in Ambler for Mother’s Day! 💐Great ambience, music, and service! Unfortunately the food could have been better. Went with appetizers, sandwiches, pasta and pizza. The chicken parm sandwich was a patty and not a cutlet. Appetizer were standard: frozen and fried and honestly just ok. Pizza was a little heavy and greasy, good dough, but maybe too much cheese caused the slice to flop. Highlight was the bread and oil to start and the cheese steak was huge! This place is only a month old so we are hoping they are just working some kinks. This is a great location and the has a lot of potential! We will be back in a few months to give them a second chance.

Homemade ice cream right in Norristown, PA! This ice cream shop was such a great find. Friendly staff, to go quarts of ice cream, so many flavors, homemade popsicles, fresh waffles, crepes and mini pancakes! This shop has so much to offer and is perfect for a nice spring or summer sweet treat outing! 🍧🍨🍦Paleteria Y Neveria La Sorpresa
