Jane's Journeys

Jane's Journeys Jane's Journeys is a group tour company based in Southern Illinois and Paducah, KY, operating for over 25 years. I believe that this is important to you.

Jane's Journeys offers fully-es**rted group travel, which includes one-day, overnight, overseas tours and cruises. Tour planning for pre-formed groups, such as banks, garden clubs, church and student groups, can also be arranged. I personally design, make all reservations and es**rt my tours. Personal service is very important and is the focal point of Jane's Journeys. I have been in the group tou

r industry since 1994 and realize the importance of hands-on, one-on-one service. On overnight tours, I list in the itinerary all lodging properties, so that you will know the quality of the hotels you will be staying in. I also include dinners the majority of evenings, rather than leaving this to the customer to find a quality restaurant for this meal. On one-day tours, I also include one meal, except for rare occasions, rather than leaving this to the customer. I believe that taking the worry out of these matters is one of the reasons why you, the customer, choose a tour, rather than traveling on your own. And, you are also guaranteed a delicious meal that has been planned and arranged for you. - Jane Julian

What an incredible experience here at White Stallion Ranch, Tucson, AZ in Arizona! 🦉

A couple of baby owls recently hatched on the property, and today both of them flew down and landed close.

Experiences like this are just one of the many reasons White Stallion Ranch is such a memorable destination.

Jane’s Journeys will be staying here with a group in November 2027, and I can already tell it's going to be an amazing adventure. Stay tuned for details!

Our final day of the Utah National Parks Adventure took us from Moab to Salt Lake City! Along the drive, we were surprised with snow as we crossed through the mountains, quite a change from the desert scenery we had been enjoying!

Once in Salt Lake City, we enjoyed a wonderful city tour and discovered there is so much to see and learn in this beautiful area.

We’ve loved sharing highlights and photos from this unforgettable journey with all of you! If you’ve enjoyed following along, good news...Jane’s Journeys will be returning to Utah in September 2027!

Days 5 & 6 brought even more incredible scenery, movie history, and fun adventures!

At Monument Valley, we enjoyed a delightful and adventurous jeep tour through the towering monuments, learning about the area’s history and culture along the way. We even stopped for an authentic Navajo fry bread taco picnic under the shadow of one of the monuments. Absolutely beautiful! Many classic western movies were filmed here, and it truly felt like stepping into the Old West. 🤠

After Monument Valley, we were reminded just how many famous movies have been filmed in Utah. One favorite for many was the famous Forrest Gump scene where he stopped running. It was filmed right along this scenic route! 🏃‍♂️

We then continued on to Moab for Day 6, where we explored the incredible Arches National Park with its amazing rock formations and over 2,000 natural arches! In the afternoon, we headed to Canyonlands National Park for a picnic lunch with some of the BEST views of the trip. Fun fact — the ending scene from Thelma & Louise was filmed here, not at the Grand Canyon! We could have easily spent days exploring both parks.

We wrapped up the evening with a windy/rainy boat ride on the river. It hardly ever rains in Moab, so of course it picked our evening! ☔😂 There were lots of laughs as everyone tried getting ponchos on, but with good company and great attitudes, it turned into another unforgettable memory.

Days 3 & 4 of our Utah National Parks Adventure were absolutely unforgettable! 🏞️✨

We began by traveling out of Zion National Park through the historic Zion-Mount Carmel Tunnel on the scenic Zion-Mount Carmel Highway. In less than a month, buses will no longer be allowed through this route, so we were one of the LAST tour groups able to experience this incredible drive! What a special memory.

We then explored beautiful Bryce Canyon National Park, where we enjoyed seeing the amazing hoodoos. Bryce gives you a completely different perspective from Zion. Instead of looking up at towering cliffs, you’re looking down into the breathtaking canyon below!

The next day, we started at Lee’s Ferry near Glen Canyon Dam for a relaxing boat ride along the Colorado River. We cruised around famous Horseshoe Bend, heard fascinating stories, spotted petroglyphs, and enjoyed spectacular scenery along the way.

After lunch, we visited stunning Antelope Canyon — a favorite stop for many! The towering canyon walls and beautiful beams of sunlight created some incredible photo opportunities. 📸 You might even recognize Antelope Canyon from the cover of our 2026 Jane’s Journeys catalog!

We wrapped up the evening with dinner in the beautiful Rainbow Room at Lake Powell Resort. What an amazing couple of days!

Next stop… Monument Valley!

We just got back from our Utah National Parks Adventure! Over the next couple of days, we’ll be sharing some of our favorite photos from the trip. 📸🏞️

Day 1 started in Las Vegas, where several of us had the chance to experience The Wizard of Oz at the Sphere. WOW — what an amazing show and unforgettable experience! 🌟

Day 2 took us to beautiful Zion National Park. We enjoyed a nice hike, breathtaking scenery, and a wonderful tram tour through the park. The views were absolutely incredible!

Stay tuned as we continue the journey and head next to Bryce Canyon National Park!
