The deadline is fast approaching! After several delays, starting May 7, flying domestically within the United States will require a Real ID.

How to tell if you have a Real ID? Real ID-compliant drivers licenses or state ID cards will have a star in the right-hand corner.

If you don’t have one already, you’ll need to visit your local DMV with the necessary paperwork (requirements vary by state). Also, don’t forget your patience when you go as DMVs are busy and appointments sparse with the deadline approaching.

US, Australian and Canadian citizens are now required to apply for permission to enter the UK through ETA, or Electronic Travel Authorization before travel. Note that this applies to travel to England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and also any of the 14 UK Overseas Territories including Bermuda, the British Virgin Islands, Aguilla, Turks and Caicos, the Cayman Islands and more.

The process is simple. Apply though the official UK ETA mobile app or website with a current cost of £10. While most applications are approved the same day, it can take up to 72 hours so don’t risk leaving it to the last minute!

Most importantly, you must make the application BEFORE you travel. Validity lasts for two years and allows multiple entries so you can visit as often as you please!

Just connecting through the UK without passing through border control? You are temporarily exempt from the requirements after feedback from the aviation industry.

Bruvion stands in solidarity with our beloved Los Angeles. Like everyone, we’ve watched in horror as so many of our community fled the horrendous wind driven fires throughout our city and so many lost everything.

We are actively assisting multiple affected clients and are ready to assist all other clients as needed.

Gratefully, all Bruvion staff and our homes are currently safe, though like all our community, we remain alert.

Los Angeles is both special and resilient and while our hearts are broken and there are many challenges ahead, we forever love our city.

The US may not be first in mind when you think of luxury train travel but we were recently very impressed with our experience on the higher speed train 🚄from Orlando to Miami!

Easily the best train experience in the US, trains are comparable to a premium Eurostar cabin. The terminal was very nice, extra clean and features a lovely lounge for premium passengers. On board the premium cabin you’ll enjoy Starlink satellite wifi and complimentary snack baskets with drinks, sandwiches and salads available for order.

The higher speed trains average 80-90 mph but do sometimes need to pause to accommodate other trains sharing the existing tracks. Our journey from Orlando to Miami took 3.5 hours and had stops in West Palm Beach, Boca Raton, Ft Lauderdale, Aventura, and Downtown Miami.
